What actually gets saved
The file you get is the same one Instagram serves, so quality depends on what the creator uploaded. A Reel filmed and uploaded at 1080p comes back at 1080p; one that was already compressed on upload cannot be improved by any downloader, here or anywhere else.
Audio is kept in the file. Overlays burned into the video — captions, stickers, filters — stay visible, because they are part of the frames. Interactive elements Instagram renders on top, such as polls and link stickers, are not part of the video and will not appear.
Reels from public accounts only
This tool can only reach content Instagram serves publicly. If an account is private, its Reels are restricted at Instagram’s end and no external tool can retrieve them — any site claiming otherwise is either asking for your login or misleading you. We never ask for Instagram credentials, and we do not log the links you submit.
Works on Android, iPhone and desktop
Everything runs in the browser, so there is nothing to install on any platform. On desktop the file lands in your normal downloads folder. On Android it goes to Downloads. Can I save a Reel without installing an app?
Yes. Everything happens in your browser — paste a link, get a file. There is nothing to install on Android, iPhone or desktop.
Will the video and sound quality stay the same?
The file is the one Instagram serves, so it matches what the creator uploaded. If they posted in 1080p you get 1080p. A downloader cannot add quality that was never there.
Do private account Reels work?
No. Instagram restricts private content at its own end, so no external tool can reach it. Any site that claims otherwise is asking for your login — do not give it.
Is this safe to use?
We never ask for your Instagram username or password, and we do not store the links you paste. Treat any downloader that requests your account credentials as unsafe.
Why did my link fail?
The three usual causes are a private account, a post that has since been deleted, and a copied link that picked up extra text. Use Copy Link rather than selecting the address bar, then try again.
